The year was 1925 and ghostbusters were not available. So the US government decided to ask school children to send in pennies! I am not kidding.

The Village Board is announcing the retirement of Chris Robinson on July 22, 2022.


Chris has been a loyal and valuable Village employee for the past 28 years and the 
Village will miss Chris immensely.

Looking for the names of teachers at the Filer Corners school I came upon this note from F. T. Jarvis. His recollections contain some errors. The crime took place in the Town of Burlington, not Butternuts. I was able to find an account of the trial at Cornell University [ https://digital.library.cornell.edu/catalog/sat0203] and attached it below.
