Elmore Feeds, from Oneonta, NY, once sold in Morris

Elmore Feeds advertising sign, 12” square, stencil painted sign on Masonite board, black lettering on mustard colored background featuring Alf the Elf holding an Elmore Feeds feed bag scattering grain. Sign has four drilled holes in each corner for mounting. Elmore Milling Co., was in business in Oneonta, NY just after the turn of the century, a fire in 1913 destroyed the building but it was rebuilt and in operation within a year after. They were respected members of the business community and also recognized for their quality grain products. As old as the sign is and having been in use there is normal wear as it should be. The edges show slight wear, the letter “O” has some paint flaking and there is some discoloration between “ss” in pass. Circa 1913 to 1920’s.

Elmore Feeds also made hats. For more detailed views click on the links below.

June 1933 Calendar from Elmore Feeds includes Alf the Elf and Teddy Roosevelt who died in 1919.
